PERFORMERS

Adam Shoenfeld

Born in Long Island, NY, raised in New Jersey, Adam first picked up a guitar at the age of four. By the age of 14 he was hitting clubs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York City.

He took the stage in Jazz ensembles, blues bands, rock bands, and heavy metal bands.

After moving to Nashville at 19 years old, Adam landed a job answering phones at Woodland Studios. Within a few short months his job description also included “House Musician”. It was there that he cut his teeth on hundreds of demos in just a few short years. When he wasn’t under the headphones himself,

Adam was being inspired by the worlds finest musicians whose tones were bleeding through the walls. It was an exciting time in Nashville for everyone.

In 1997, Adam was asked to audition for Hollywood Records artist, Big Kenny. This eventually led to Adam becoming a member of Big & Rich both in the studio and on the road. His first national radio debut as a guitarist was the multi-platinum hit, “Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy”.

While Big & Rich started gaining their national recognition, Adam was gaining recognition as a recording guitarist in Nashville. He was also playing local showcases for record labels with an up-and-coming artists. Most notably Jason Aldean. Aldean landed his record deal, and Adam stayed on as part of the creative force behind this new country sound.

After about five years of touring with Big & Rich, Adam decided to take a break from the road and focus on studio work. He recalls, “I felt like Big & Rich pigeon holed me as the guy that played power chords on country records, but the Aldean records made people stand up and take notice of what I brought to the table a little bit more”. It was perfect timing to take a leap of faith.

Fast forward to 2014, Adam has played on countless successful country records for artists such as Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and Florida/Georgia Line (among many others).

Beyond country, Adam has contributed his sounds to records for Steven Tyler, Natasha Bedingfield and Marc Broussard. He has written a Billboard No. 1 song as well as played on over 25 No. 1 hits in the past 10 years.

He has been nominated for ACM Guitarist of the Year and CMA Musician of the Year awards and is currently touring the globe with country music superstar Tim McGraw.
